A recent single vehicle rollover incident on Vancouver Island with four young teenagers in the car resulted in quadriplegic injuries to the driver and a passenger. Through David's creativity, thoroughness and tenacity, an additional claim was advanced against an international tire supplier which installed a faulty tire. David's work was instrumental in the driver receiving over $3.5 million worth of lifetime compensation, when it first appeared that he had no claim. The passenger received over $4.5 million worth of compensation, which provided her with lifetime care as well as a home. Through David's creativity and hard work, two young people and their families now have better lives;

A 30-year-old male from the Hawaiian Islands was visiting British Columbia when he sustained a quadriplegic injury in a single vehicle crash on Vancouver Island. This young man had no medical insurance either in Canada or in Hawaii. As a result of David's creative and tenacious work, this young man received approximately $6.7 million in compensation which allowed him to find the best rehabilitation possible on Kauai as well as provided him with a lifetime pension. Through David's efforts, over a million dollars in British Columbian and Hawaiian hospital bills were also paid. David traveled to Hawaii on several occasions and met with various medical and rehabilitation personnel to coordinate a comprehensive rehabilitation program for this young man, including medical and rehabilitation personnel from British Columbia, California, and Hawaiian Islands;

As a result of a head on collision in central British Columbia, a young child sustained a quadriplegic injury. As a result of David's outstanding legal work, a claim was advanced against the drivers, owners, and leasing companies that owned the vehicles involved in this collision. A careful and thorough engineering work up by David resulted in a claim being advanced for a faulty child seat which allowed for additional funds to be recovered. As a result of David's actions, this young child and his family have a sizeable tax free pension for life as well as a trust fund to assist the child for the remainder of his life. Because of David's actions, $7.8 million was recovered, making this the second largest personal injury claim in British Columbia history for a child;
- Recently a 35 year old medical doctor was riding in a vehicle driven by his friend when the driver fell asleep and drove off the road. Unfortunately the doctor who was riding in the backseat sustained a life-altering catastrophic brain injury. In addition to recovering the insurance policy limits from the driver of the vehicle, David was able to advance a claim against the company responsible for the highway construction and the government. Through a thorough and comprehensive review of the highway design and construction, David was able to prove fault on the part of the construction company and the government, resulting in recovery of approximately $7.5 million.
